Integrative Massage

Integrative sessions are my ideal way to connect with clients. Equipped with an array of healing tools and experience, I will tune into what you individually need at that time. A combination of massage, Reiki and sound healing allows for a deeply relaxing and healing experience, although additional modalities may be used. This session requires trust and the ability to open up and fully receive. Two hours is divided however it serves you best.

Trigger Point Bodywork

Lower back pain? Tight hips? Neck issues? Seeking more range of motion and less pain during workouts or basic life activities? Similar to Orthopedic massage, conditions that benefit are: sciatica, frozen shoulder, tennis / golf elbow, tendinitis, carpal-tunnel syndrome and more.

Mobility and agility are extremely important for body optimization. Muscle tightness is the number one contributor to pre-injury states or chronic muscular pain. The difference between this method and deep tissue resides in the principle of the lengthening of the muscle.

Using a combination of myofascial release, active trigger point release, ischemic pressure and pin-and-move techniques, we cut off blood supply to the tightened tissues while shortening them, allowing the muscle to release and relax. We then re-lengthen the muscle, allowing it to return to it’s natural state, releasing tension from tightened attachments, poor posture, and all the multifarious ways that we hurt our body. This method is derived from The Moench Method.

Ideal for those seeking overall mobility and agility through any stage of life. Whether you’re an athlete, seeking surgery alternatives, in chronic pain, recovering from an injury or simply need some relief, trigger point bodywork is for you.

Deep Tissue Massage

I apply slow and firm pressure to release muscle tension. We will work up to the deepest layers of muscle tissue, tendons, and fascia. We’ll relieve knots, overworked muscles and connective tissue. Great for active people, athletes and those with chronic joint and muscle pain.

If you’re looking for anatomical bodywork and inflammation release, Deep Tissue massage is for you.

Therapeutic Swedish Massage

A classic, lighter approach that promotes relaxation by gently releasing muscle tension and increasing blood flow. Good for those holding tension in their back, shoulders and neck but do not respond well with firm pressure and do not need lasting results. Hot towels and essential oils may be used.

If you’re looking for a lighter, nurturing and more relaxing experience, Therapeutic Swedish is for you.

Lomi Lomi

An oceanic Hawaiian technique that focuses on seamless strokes that glide from one part of the body to another. Re-creating a womb-like experience through massage, this type of bodywork is relaxing, cleansing and healing. Lomi translates to “to take and turn, to shift.” Allow yourself to let what doesn’t serve go, and come back to You.

1-Hour Bodywork

Ideal for those who are in good health, seeking a general and quick body tune-up. This is an integrative offering where deep tissue, therapeutic, Swedish and cupping techniques will be used, depending on your needs.

***Please note, this offering is not designed for chronic pain relief, for those who do not stretch after heavy exercise, or for those with acute immobility issues or injuries. If you are experiencing any of the above, a trigger-point or integrative session will be more aligned for you.
